Tomasz Kucharski

Urodzony w 1977 roku w Gdańsku. Dyplom na ASP w Gdańsku w 2007 r. w pracowni prof. Macieja Świeszewskiego. Aneks z rysunku pod kierunkiem prof. Marii Targońskiej. W latach 2014-2022 członek Zarządu Głównego Związku Polskich Artystów Plastyków. Początkowo jako sekretarz ZG a następnie jako wiceprezes ZG. Prowadził „Laboratorium Technologiczne” na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku. Aktualnie od 2018 r. prowadzi „Pracownię Technologii Malarstwa i Rysunku” na Wydziale Malarstwa ASP w Gdańsku. Jest asystentem w Pracowni Rysunku prof. Anny Królikiewicz. Wybrane nagrody i wyróżnienia: Laureat „Artystycznej podróży Hestii”; Stypendium Marszałka Woj. Pomorskiego; Dyplom Ministra Kultury. Prace w zbiorach Muzeum Narodowego w Gdańsku, Państwowej Galerii Sztuki w Sopocie oraz w kolekcjach prywatnych. Liczne wystawy w kraju i za granicą.

Born in 1977 in Gdańsk. He graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2007 in the studio of Prof. Maciej Świeszewski, with an annex in drawing under Prof. Maria Targońska. From 2014 to 2022 he served on the Main Board of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP), including as Secretary and later Vice-President. He ran the Academy’s Technological Laboratory and, since 2018, has headed the Studio of Painting and Drawing Technology at the Faculty of Painting; he also works as an assistant in the Drawing Studio led by Prof. Anna Królikiewicz. He is a laureate of Artystyczna Podróż Hestii and a scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, and has received a distinction from the Minister of Culture. His works are held in collections including the National Museum in Gdańsk and the State Art Gallery in Sopot, as well as private collections.
