Piotr Wyrzykowski alias Peter Style, doktor sztuki, artysta multimedialny, performer, scenograf i VJ, jest twórcą, który nieustannie poszukuje nowych form wyrazu w sztuce. Ukończył dyplom w Pracowni Intermedialnej „Pi” prof. Wyrzykowski współtworzył Otwarte Atelier, którego siedziba mieściła się w budynku dawnej łaźni miejskiej (obecnie CSW Łaźnia). Jest autorem pionierskiej polskiej pracy internetowej „44” (1999), opartej na poczcie królów polskich Matejki. Jako autor aplikacji mobilnych i instalacji interaktywnych, angażuje się w działania w przestrzeni publicznej oraz reżyseruje performanse multimedialne i filmy wideo. Jego dzieła, takie jak praca wideo „Beta Nassau” (1993) w kolekcji Museum of Modern Art w Nowym Jorku oraz „Atomic Love” (2006) w Musée National d’Art Moderne Centre Georges Pompidou w Paryżu, potwierdzają jego znaczącą obecność na międzynarodowej scenie artystycznej.

Also known as Peter Style, he is a multimedia artist, performer, scenographer and VJ, and holds a PhD in Fine Arts. He graduated from the Intermedia Studio ‘Pi’ led by Prof. Witosław Czerwonka at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He debuted as a performer in 1990 at Wyspa Gallery. In the early 1990s he co-shaped the Gdańsk art scene, co-organising Otwarte Atelier, working with the Wyspa Progress Foundation and the Sfinks Foundation, and creating some of the first techno music visuals in Poland. He is a member of the Kolonia Artystów Foundation Council. He is the author of the pioneering Polish internet artwork 44 (1999). He creates mobile applications and interactive installations, directs multimedia performances and video works, and develops the theory of transformism in art. His works are held in major collections, including MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
