Maciej Salamon

Urodzony w 1984 roku. Grafik, muzyk, ilustrator. Studiował na gdańskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych, na której aktualnie prowadzi zajęcia z projektowania graficznego na wydziale Rzeźby i Intermediów. Wokalista i gitarzysta nekropolowego duetu Nagrobki. Wraz z Nagrobkami nagrał trzy płyty i wystąpił na najważniejszych polskich festiwalach (Opener w Gdyni, Off w Katowicach, Unsound w Krakowie), a także na Dokumenta w Kassel czy w Muzeum Narodowym w Krakowie. Członek grupy artystycznej Krecha wydającej periodyk o tej samej nazwie. Twórca teledysków i animacji. Wielokrotnie nagradzany za swoją twórczość (na festiwalach filmów animowanych w Tokyo, Californii, Yach festiwalu czy nagrodą dla Młodych twórców Prezydenta Miasta Gdańska). Prowadzi zakładową Galerię Gablotka na terenie Stoczni Gdańskiej oraz organizuje wystawy w klubokawiarniogalerii Dwie Zmiany.

Born in 1984. Graphic designer, illustrator and musician. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk and teaches graphic design at the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia. As vocalist and guitarist of the duo Nagrobki he has released three albums and performed at major festivals including Open’er, OFF and Unsound, and also at Documenta in Kassel and at the National Museum in Kraków. He is a member of the Tricity-based art group Krecha, which publishes a magazine of the same name. He creates music videos and animated films and has received awards for his work, including at animation festivals in Tokyo and California, Yach Film Festival and the Mayor of Gdańsk Award for Young Creators. He runs the Gablotka gallery in the Gdańsk Shipyard area and organises exhibitions at the Dwie Zmiany venue.
