Robert Turło

Urodzony w 1966 roku, reżyser, scenarzysta i animator. W latach 1987–1993 studiował na PWSSP (obecnie ASP) w Gdańsku na kierunku Architektura Wnętrz, a w latach 1996–1998 kontynuował studia na ASP w Warszawie na kierunku Grafika. Obecnie pracuje naukowo na ASP w Gdańsku w obszarze Warsztatu Podstaw Animacji. Jest autorem animowanych wideoklipów oraz filmów, w tym realizacji adresowanych do dzieci. Laureat ponad 20 krajowych i zagranicznych nagród festiwalowych, m.in. Światowego Złotego Medalu na New York Festivals (2005) oraz nagrody specjalnej REMI w Houston (2007). W 1991 roku otrzymał nominację do Złotej Palmy w Cannes za film krótkometrażowy.

Born in 1966, he is a director, screenwriter and animator. He studied interior architecture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (1987–1993) and later graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1996–1998). He is currently a research staff member at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, working within the Foundations of Animation workshop. He is the author of animated music videos and films, primarily for children. He has received over 20 awards at national and international film festivals, including the World Gold Medal at New York Festivals (2005) and a special REMI award in Houston (2007). In 1991 he received a nomination for the Palme d’Or in Cannes for a short film.
